Rhodri forgot to mention for the following season the FFR will have to pay the travelling expenses for all the English international teams to keep in line with SL policy.

Apologies if this has already been covered. On the League Express podcast Rhodrl Jones mentioned that next season Catalans will be made to cover all the other teams travel expenses . The other clubs seem to have managed the cost in the past, why change the goalposts now. So much for encouraging the spread of the game, anybody outside of the UK that tries seem to have obstacles placed in their way at every turn. Just as the game in France seems to be on an upward curve the leading team are hit with a massive financial penalty. Good luck with trying to convince Mr Gausch this is in the best interests of the game. Maybe he'll just tell them to stick it. Which would be great for the M62 clubs but disastrous for the international game. Just as things were looking up

Does the season ticket deal only apply to SL clubs or are Championship and L1 clubs included. Hopefully the latter. -
NRL Salary Cap Exemption for Rival Code Signings

There is one caveat to the NRL chest beat about its impressive war chest. There was a rumours in a British newspaper of the Gulf States adding RU to its impressive sports portfolio. On the back of the international game. There would only be one winner in that battle. Lets hope not. -
All these games were on Sky and there was people moaning that it should have been on terrestrial tv. When Sky cared about RL and the tin pot chairmen pocketed all the lovely cash because they thought it would last forever. So here we are. Looks better in the evening though

It wasn't a classic but great to beat a team full of NRL superstars. I was underwhelmed by the BBC'S coverage. Harking back to the 4 Nations comp, most games were played in the evening. It seemed more of a spectacle under floodlights creating a febrile atmosphere and a better live and TV event. With a knock on effect of being a saleable product.

Toulouse and London were the 2 best teams at Barrow this year. Fev seemed not to have learned any lessons from the year before. They turned up with an enormous but aged pack. Barrow with a lightweight makeshift pack really had a go at Fev and by the second half Fev were blowing hard and noticeably slowing. Compare this to London and Toulouse who we couldn't touch for speed.

We should invite the big RU clubs to compete, now that would make it interesting and profitable.
