  2. Avignon hit 15/17000 I did the sponsorship for both Toulouse and Paris they were both good events main sponsor for them was Eurostar. P
  3. 33. Gunmen Of The Apocalypse. Simulants are killer androids who despise humans, they attack Starbug, but our heroes win. Before the Simulants ship is destroyed they transmit an electronic virus to Starbug's engines. To combat this Kryten must plug himself into the ship and combat the virus. His battle is translated in his mind as a battle for power in a Wild West town, Lister and Co enter this dream Wild West town to help out.
  4. Series 6. 31. Psirens. Red Dwarf the ship is gone, stolen! The crew are confined to Starbug mini craft, and must find Red Dwarf. After 200 years following the Red Dwarf vapour trail Lister and the Cat are revived from cryogenic hibernation, Rimmer reactivated, and the search continues. On an asteroid they encounter hallucination inducing mind sucking insectoid life. 32. Legion. The crew in pursuit of Red Dwarf meet Legion, an entity that needs other minds to become active from its dormant state. Legion was created by 4 scientists and shared their minds and personalities. Now its mind is made up of thoughts and emotions of Lister and Co. A bit of a comedown.
  5. The last mid-season international between these teams in Toulouse (2008) got 8.3k. A year later in Paris it got 7.6k. The crowds don't tend to be horrendous considering the organisation.
  6. Isn't TNW still at Leeds, anyway, I wouldn't consider including him if he is going to keep getting recalled? I'd bring AJ back, give Brown a rest, otherwise I'd leave the team as it was on Sunday, with Ata on the bench if he is fit.
  7. I really enjoy going to Headingley, but the North stand looks poor on TV- it sounds and looks much poorer on tv now as a stadium.
  8. Eddie Rombo signing back up to play the opposite wing berth? he can still run
  9. Agreed. You only need to look at Wigan's demise in the mid-00s. Nearly relegated in 06. They got a new coach and signed one player (on the face of it). Seemed to make a huge difference! *I'll ignore the fact they also broke the salary cap...* And again, a few years later they changed owner, head coach and suddenly became the blue print! With the right people and investment, the change can be pretty quick. By the looks of it, we're willing to fork out some money (which we weren't sure about before) to get the right people. That's a relief at least because the feeling was we were skint and doing it all on the cheap. Turns out, we're just doing it really really really badly!
  10. Ok, those are all fair reasons. I wonder if the local fans will look at it that way though (hopefully not). Let's hope tickets go on sale soon and they have 2 full months to push sales.
  11. I think there are two main issues: (a) squads won't be announced until the week of the game (I believe) so who knows what kind of game we're looking at, (b) no tickets are on sale. (b) will obviously get sorted eventually but it kinda indicates how hard the FFR intend to push the event. It's precisely the event I would have loved to go to - I've done Toulouse several times - but there's just too much uncertainty surrounding it for me to be bothered this time.
  12. Cullen had that very odd delivery, over enunciated his words and using 5 when 1 would do. Didn't enjoy it.
  13. Just a minute, I am sure I have heard that somewhere before

  17. Sorry but can someone please explain to me why 10,000 in Toulouse for France vs England seems so unrealistic? The million pound match in 2021, Toulouse vs Featherstone attracted 9,235 and they had only 8 days to to promote the match! Now this England vs France match has been announced 2.5 months in advance and also coincides with FFRXIII's 90-year anniversary celebrations, so I believe they will be looking to heavily promote the match. I also think 1000+ England/Featherstone fans travelling over is not too far-fetched either. Time will tell I suppose.

  23. I wonder if " rugby" had gone down the road of broken time payments leading to professionalism would it be competing with association football as the most popular sport ? The class system in 19th century Britain wouldn't have allowed that I dont think .the ruling classes didn't want working men on their level especially on the sporting field . Take Cricket " Gentlemen and Players "
  24. I remember looking her up at the time I saw the film and being surprised how few movies she'd done. Looking again on wiki just now, it looks like a lot of fairly okay TV roles in her career but no films since Palm Springs.
