  1. Leigh will come good but maybe too late. This Fridays match v Catalans is sink or swim. Playing Wigan 3 times doesn’t help whilst others play Hull and London 3 times. Bloody loop fixtures !
  2. It would take something special for Paul to leave his roots in the North West. If he does then good luck to him but I would see a few from Salford following him as that is what normally happens.
  3. So can I although that was the original plan last year and he was shocking. There some good Half Backs around for sure who would compliment the way Leigh play.
  4. O Donnell, Moylan and Ipape are with us next year. Leutelle will stay if offered as he is the big reason for Moylan staying and I feel both Asiata and Amone will be big money retentions. Still plenty to play for. I can see us upsetting Catalans on Friday which will hopefully kick start the season. Lots of twists turns and lack of form to come for some sides. A decent Centre, a good 6 and a front rower would complete a good side, and you don’t need to go to Australia to find those !
  5. Ipape due to be back for the Cas game and now running according to Lam 2 weeks ago. To be fair though, he is rarely mentioned but I thought is injury and recovery was more set in stone and obvious.
  6. Just watched the highlights, as i missed the last 20 mins due to going to work, but that last Hudds try intrigued me. Didn't the Hudds player touch the ball in flight as he tried to intercept first ? And to top it off knock on a second time as he re-gathered ? Deserved victory though, so fair play.
  7. Unusual of me to bet on a Leigh win at 4-1. Not won a competitive game away at Warrington since 1987 and what a game that was. Im keeping the faith. I think Wire are too strong, but I don’t think they will have it their own way.
  8. Won’t be unreserved seating so should only be half of the Block in the East Stand Col. If it’s Hudds, then ample room for the drummer and the away fans
  9. I stand corrected although Marshall may hold the badges. Let’s hope they don’t attack like that on depleted Leigh on Sat
  10. The level I’m hoping you go back too is Leigh’s level so we can bring you back down to Earth with a bump on Sat Well played Wire. Saints don’t offer much to me and have scraped through a lot of games by great defence. Williams pulled the strings and had Saints disjointed left and right throughout the second half. Special mention to Richard Marshall who no doubt puts together most of Warringtons attacking structures. As a team a blooding the kids through, Burgess is fearless in making the final team call. A big well done from a currently sombre Leyther exiled in Warrington
  11. Warrington will need a plan B to trouble Saints away. If they do this, they have a chance as Wire have the quicker back line.
  12. Am I missing something, or have you won something in the past 2 seasons? If not, you do lose games ! Good luck in the Semis !
  13. Well done Hudds. Great win and always seem to perform in France. Certainly flip flopping in regards to the performances last season
  14. Play like that in the Semi like you did in the first half, forget Wembley. Once you get into gear, you are good to watch but any team with speed on the fringes will have you I’m afraid. If I was a coach, I would have my pack run at Lewis and Whitbread all day. Both can’t tackle a dinner !
  15. It will hot up in the semi final for sure. Leigh’s fitness nowhere near that of last years but pleased overall with the discipline and the attacking prowess. Defensively over the 80 mins, not that of a top SL team. Saints and Wigan on the other hand ? Good luck to HKR. I am a huge supporter of the underdog and I hope one of them or Hudds go all the way
  16. He certainly was. Even in the twilight of his career, he was an absolute pain in the backside to tackle. Very strong and in my opinion one of the World Best EVER !
  17. He wasn’t really ‘Downtown’ though was he as quoted by the ref. The lazy sod didn’t even retire behind the ptb, therefore should have no involvement in the play whatsoever. He would have had more use being a traffic light on the Humber Bridge on that play, never mind following play being within 10 meters ! At least Hanley retired behind the ptb. Shaun Edwards was the same.
  18. Quite correct as I only realised after I typed that he hadn’t retired when the ball was played. Bloody madness and amateurish. His next training session needs to a rules lesson on Rugby league and it needs to be with some posters on here with the sounds of it.
  19. Well done HKR. Green shoots for Leigh who will be better with Asiata and Ipape back. Prefer Moylan at FB but we are a side who lack pace but with more consistency, we will be fine. Thought both sides playing with wind behind played pants
  20. Offside Got to retire at the play the ball or be outside 10 meters. Daft sod was at the side of the kicker.
  21. Nothing wrong with the Minchella pass. Leigh need to be smart second half. Amone is immense. Even Trout making good meters. O Donnell is another level. I hope he is OK with his head knock.
  22. Huddersfield take ticketing to a new level nowadays. They have unreserved stands !
