Tommygilf Posted Monday at 11:53 Share Posted Monday at 11:53 All clubs in Super League have played either 7 or 8 league games now (plus cup) which is roughly a quarter of the season. How would you rate each team's start? A* to F?
Barry Badrinath Posted Monday at 12:29 Share Posted Monday at 12:29 Warrington: joint top of the table, knocked saints out the cup, only defeated in fairly competitive games by catalans. i'd give us a C its definitely not our year.
phiggins Posted Monday at 12:36 Share Posted Monday at 12:36 Leigh. Only one win, and several injuries, some of which may be related to the club's pre season departures in the backroom staff. At least two wins thrown away. Grade E

That win over Penrith was pretty decent and enough for an A at this stage, given their league standings. A D might be a little on the generous side for Leeds. I was on the fence with Wigan but looking at it with fresh eyes I think I would revise it to an A. I think a D for Leeds is fair though. It reflects how, even through mediocrity, they are so far ahead of the chasing pack.

daz39
Huddersfield - 6th place in the league, Semi final of the cup, scoring points for fun especially away from home (198 in the last 5) and with a huge confidence running through the players and coaches. I'd give us a B, if were comparing to last year.
Archie Gordon
SL as a whole - C- Failure to follow through on pre-season feel-good factor or take much advantage of every game on TV. BBC deal just hasn't delivered. SL+ subscriptions look low. London feels like an albatross. Some sensational encounters at the top of the comp. Wigan are WC champions. MZH
I don't think you can grade Hull. We've dropped out and gone to work in Burger King.

I'd go a weak D.
