Don't know much about him but reckon he definitely has a side line with a craft beer microbrewery

I think they've completely underestimated the challenge of moving from semi pro to amateur. I've seen it with Coventry Bears and it's like completely starting all over. I think they've made a real error in entering the Southern Conference. They should have aimed lower and built the club up again before doing so. -

Hurricanes beat Cornwall 72-6 in Cornwall. Very impressive performance that. Jake Sweeting 12 from 12 kicks might be a Hurricanes record? -
One of the best players in the SL era. It's a real shame things didn't work out in the NRL as he was a world class player. He's shown he can still do a job and no doubt will be a good addition to the back room staff at Leeds so a good move.

Good question but the current model based on clicks and cutting corners using AI to write articles is surely not sustainable?
-
OK you've made your point. Calling someone childish and an idiot is hardly saying something respectfully but maybe that's just me.
-
You have chosen to call me childish and now an idiot to try to make your point. I'm pretty sure you can't see the irony in that. Inclusivity comes in all forms and you can't pick and chose what you want to be inclusive about. Blocking people you disagree with by it's very nature is not inclusive. In the context I said it it was correct. By the way I absolutely admire the work Keighley do in raising awareness of LGBTQ issues but equally find their attitude to other things completely bizarre.

I'm not sure it works in media. It's very easy to tell something has been written by AI and is usually poor quality. It may get better but there's no substitute for written word (media people please take note!)
-
Please clarify. I have no idea what you mean

Coventry are my team. As such I'm not sure I consider myself a fan of Rhinos. But I have 'followed' them for many years. I get that Smith was brought in to do a job and overhaul the squad but I think he's been given sufficient time now. There's enough talent in that squad to be doing better than they are. Change needed IMO

Hurricanes, Hunslet, Keighley and Crusaders. Some good games this week -
Some of you have mentioned good media. What other good outlets are there?
-
Don't for get to add the word SHOCK in capitals and underlined in every sentence

How is it a childish dig? I pointed out they had articles on their website written by AI. They took exception to that which is their perogative. I don't think it's very inclusive to block everyone they don't agree with but there we are.

I think previous topics have touched on this issue so apologies if we are covering old ground. Over the last 12 months I've pretty much stopped following most RL news outlets and journalists. I still think there are some good ones out there like John Davidson and the Forty20 crew. Nearly everyone is following clicks now and copy and pasting others. Lately I've seen loads of articles written by AI (just been blocked by 'inclusive' Keighley Cougars for pointing out their articles are written by AI). As good journalists retire or pass away they are replaced by click bait merchants. I'm a bit disillusioned with this aspect of our sport. I understand this isnt just a RL issue but does anyone else feel this way? Is it really that bad? How do you get credible RL news?
