Josef K
I have got tickets for The Lovely Eggs & The Breeders both in Manchester. I just hope a Saints game doesn’t clash with TLE as i think id have to give it a miss. The Breeders are fine as that is midweek.

Cumbrian Fanatic
So far only seen Dead Men Walking this year, but have a few lined up starting with SLF next week. In summer, I've got North West Calling, Green Day, Mayhem @ Mick's and Rebellion then Morecambe Punk Festival in November. Like to try and get at least one per month, so need to sort a few out 100% League 0% Union Just because I don't know doesn't mean I don't understand

Kinda impressive that I reckon the best 'rock' track of last few years was released by some sixty-something women. Hoping to go to the Leeds gig, but there's a good chance I won't be in the UK that week. Was supposed to see Irish fiddle/accordion player Sharon Shannon in Masham last month, but she cancelled due to illness. Was supposed to see Urban Folk Quartet over in Swaledale last week, but they cancelled due to illness, their banjo player Dan Walsh did a very good solo gig instead. English folk band Leveret up next for me. Piece Hall in Halifax has a bit of an all-star line-up this year?
Yorks Tim
Local psych-rockers Futumche supported by post-punkers Long Good Fridays on Saturday. Not many there as the gig clashed with a couple of others that split the audience. It's great having so much going on in Coventry now but a shame that there aren't quite enough punters coming out to fill the venues when there are fixture clashes. Then The Esther Bennett Quartet on Tuesday. A great singer influenced by Sarah Vaughan although she struggled with the tiny PA. Also far too many bass solos. Adelaide Tiger
Jesus, never heard of any of the above artists in the previous posts. Never really been interested in music unless it was on TOTP or Radio 1 as a young lad. But here is a group that I doubt few of you have heard of ….. Tycho Brahe. Went to see them last week as they supported the Human League on their Aussie tour. Wife’s cousin knows the band members of Tycho Brahe very well and they stayed at his house in Adelaide for a few days to save money on hotel expenses. In date order (so far) Miles Hunt The Killers Embrace/Ash/Cud/Sleeper/OCS Noel Gallagher Shed Seven Lack of gigs at the Piece Hall this year, in part due to the artists and in part due to the ridiculous ticket prices. There are sadly people who are no longer with us, and some just not up to touring. The initial idea was to find where the Buzzcocks were playing, so they were the primary band. The 2 options we found were to see them supporting The Stranglers, or see them at SVF 24 North. As 2 out of 4 couldn't make the SVF then we opted for going to the Piece Hall, a venue I haven't been to before. I did see the Stranglers at Leeds O2 in 2019(?)... they were okay, but they were never my favourite band back in the day. Went to see SLF in Leeds 2 weeks ago, which was an excellent gig as usual, and are going to see The Damned in December. Just need to find some more gigs that I fancy.
