  1. Thanks, they've obviously just stopped selling them in the other concourse at the north end of the east stand.
  2. Okay, thanks. It's intriguing, I always sit at the northern end of the main stand and, as I say, there haven't been any on sale there since at least the middle of last season. I always make a point of looking out for them too. Perhaps I'd find them in the other concourse if I got a ticket for the other end of the stand.
  3. Admittedly I'm only an occasional visitor, but I haven't seen them on sale since early/mid season last year.
  4. Their brand (like all first class county cricket teams) is the traditional country they represent. If roses matches were to work, we would need to build the brand (the competition and the teams). In terms of the teams, I'm happy to accept it looks an easier task for Yorks than Lancs. Anyway, my point was simply that the stadiums mentioned are in Lancashire as generally understood in a sporting context. Although Wilderspool, being on the other side of the Mersey wasn't.
  5. Lancashire County Cricket Club don't seem to have an issue. Everyone accepts they represent the traditional county.
  6. Let's not start this again. Yes, there are different types of counties - the traditional ones, administrative ones, ceremonial ones, etc. What constitutes Lancashire is different for each of those types of county. We all know that in the rugby league (in fact general sporting) context, a reference to Lancashire means the traditional county. All of the grounds mentioned there are in the traditional county of Lancashire.
  7. I got one myself. Nice shirt with a proper collar.
  8. Toulouse Olympique v Whitehaven by 12 Barrow Raiders v Doncaster by 8 Batley Bulldogs v Wakefield Trinity by 18 Featherstone Rovers v Widnes Vikings by 6 Halifax Panthers v Sheffield Eagles by 2 Swinton Lions v Dewsbury Rams by 4 York Knights v Bradford Bulls by 16
  9. Cornwall v Midlands Hurricanes by 10 Hunslet v Workington Town by 4 Newcastle Thunder v Keighley Cougars by 46 North Wales Crusaders v Rochdale Hornets by 2
  10. I'm not sure of the reason you have done this comparison, please could you explain? If you are comparing Catalans to a British club, wouldn't it make more sense to be another of the top SL clubs who run reserves (akin to Catalans' Elite 1 team) and an academy? York, I believe, have also begun running a wheelchair team recently.
  11. I assume almost all of the remaining 22% will be in the neighbouring regions of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and Nouvelle-Aquitaine?
  12. Personally, if it was on TV I would mention it to people and encourage them to watch it. If it's on SL+ then I may still bring it up in conversation, but it will be less likely and I'm less likely to suggest people download an app, etc specially for it.
  13. Are people in the wider world going to know about the internationals, never mind the Championship match? It looks as though it won't be on TV, just on SL+. I can't see there being much promotion of it to anyone who isn't already following RL.
  14. I place (most of) the blame with the RFL. The Championship is a RFL competition, the RFL chose to programme an international break for Super League but not for the Championship. It is obvious that Toulouse must have a week off if there is to be an England v France international, the RFL decided not to programme that into the fixtures.
  15. You missed the third part - this is Trinity we're discussing after all!
