Women's Super League, Round 1 (April 19th/21st)

Wow what a game. That was fantastic! So many good performances on both sides, particularly in the second half. Saints took too long to get going and can have no complaints. 

Carrie Roberts is immense.

And you're also wrong about the call. Liv Gale lost it cold, after the tackle was complete. Camera angle from behind the goal showed it clearly.

Dreadful pedestrian last set after they took the lead. No way to close out a game. Just handed York field position. 

Terrific respose from the Valks at the end. A game of two halves without doubt, but The Valks don't know what defeat means. To be honest, I thought the referee was poor, his idea of head high tackles seemed a long way from what they actually are. still it seemed okay if you had a white shirt on.

Saints need to get Zoe Harris back into the halves alongside Gaskin, it’s crazy how she’s not in the team.
