You have hit the nail when you talk about the difference in perception between fans of Championship teams and SL teams. I followed RL for years and it was always my number one sport until IMG. As a fan of a championship team I no longer take any interest in SL and if the whole lot went bankrupt I wouldn’t care less but ultimately I don’t think anything will change so I will just keep going to watch the championship and not care about the rest.

I can understand that, having an experienced centre inside a young winger. The thing is it’s not much to move them back if it’s not working.

Unfortunately I can’t see us winning this one with the amount of injuries we have but just as long as they do their best that’s all we can ask.

Well they have one now playing in NIHL, equivalent to championship, good physical team also made NIHL cup final.

Unfortunately it’s a sad indictment of the way the game has gone and is continuing to go. Clubs playing in identical grounds which lack passion and soul, the fans of those clubs sneering at the ones who don’t and people happy that spreadsheets are more important than the performance on the field. Must admit not been to a live game this season yet but will go and watch it when the Ice Hockey season is over, reminds of when rugby was good. Hull fans you have a decent Ice Hockey team in Hull you should give it a go you may just enjoy it!

So we they’re effectively saying it’s okay to have a playoff system to determine promotion and relegation between championship and league one, but not between the championship and SL. Words fail me.
