I hope you are feeling better soon...whittling hours away in the hospital is not fun...all the best to you and get well soon.

Thanks. Unfortunately I won't be leaving. Big C.

Sportsnet Now+ is an online streaming package. You'll need internet though.

Thanks. I'll check that out.

Add:

Wooh, that ain't exactly cheap. Given that they dont air every TWP game i think ill have to give it a pass.

No miracle there, but keep the faith.

“While we continue discussions around additional broadcasts, we are delighted....

Fans are advised to stay tuned to the Wolfpack website and social media channels to stay up-to-date with further 2020 broadcast information as it is released.

I'm sorry you are going through this right now.

Consider taking the weekly pass only when Sky/SN show the Wolfpack games. $10+tax a week, not cheap either but you can focus on most interesting games, the first 3 on TV (Castleford, Wigan, Leeds). Then we hope home games will be on a cheaper channel.

The other thing you can do once out of hospital, is buy an android tv box. There are services you can add on them that give you 400-500 channels (Canada, US, UK, Australia) for about $10 a month. That's what I have.

SKY TV just announced that as well as today, they will be showing 10 more Toronto Wolfpack matches this season,

including 8 from Lamport Stadium.

It's good news, but doesn't help us season ticket holders watch the away matches.

But, here's hoping something else happens.

That said, it appears to me, with this announcement, they are getting more TV coverage, than any other RL TEAM ON THE PLANET.

Good news, not perfect but we will take it. There will be eleven more games actually, 8 games from Lamport, Wigan and Leeds, and the magic weekend one.

For away games we have to hope for a TWP tv service with full game replay and live audio. I don't think anything else can come up this season. They have to get a better deal next year.

Its all new and the first time.....screwups are to be expected but they should be fixed ASAP (also to be expected from paying customers).

It will be resolved.

I just read the article on TWP website. It's a bit confusing. The are talking about 10 additional games and mentioning st Helens game of Feb 29 and Wakefield on Mar 22.

Full list below. But Wigan, Leeds and Huddersfield games are not on the list but I guess there are still gonna be shown? Meaning a total of 14 games, 8 at Lamport, 2 fake home, 3 away, 1 magic weekend.

Toronto Wolfpack v St Helens, Saturday 29 February

*Toronto Wolfpack v Wakefield Trinity, Sunday 22 March

Toronto Wolfpack v Hull FC, Saturday 18 April

Toronto Wolfpack v Wigan Warriors, Saturday 25 April

Toronto Wolfpack v St Helens, Saturday 2 May

Toronto Wolfpack v Castleford Tigers, Saturday 13 June

Toronto Wolfpack v Hull KR, Saturday 20 June

Toronto Wolfpack v Warrington Wolves, Saturday 4 July

Toronto Wolfpack v Leeds Rhinos, Sunday 2 August

Toronto Wolfpack v Catalans Dragons, Saturday 29 August

The list is your home games which will be live on TV. (Including your on the road home games)

So 11 of 14 home games altogether, including today.

Away Games & magic are additional to this announcement. Sky haven't selected all their games yet, especially for the 2nd half of the season.

All well and good... if you're a Sky customer. Will all these games be on SNWorld? Regular SN? I'd be happy just to have them streamed on CBC!

That is the question. Depending on the terms of the contract between sky and sn, they could argue that these extra games would not have been offered without the Wolfpack in the league, then they can say you need to pay extra or we will sell these extra games to someone else.

But sn can argue that these games pretty much replace the Catalans games that were offered to sn last season for the same price.

So next stop Salford, no tv and no radio either apparently.

Salford game should be covered live on BBC Radio Manchester, I'll try and keep you guys updated.

TWP games should be on Sportsnet World, seems they are trying to shift content to Sportsnet Now+ so some TWP games may be on their instead as will other NRL & SL Games not featuring Toronto.

As Manu says, Sky are producing the extra games in Canada so you'd expect they want something extra back from Sportnet for those......!

Wouldn't be surprised that Argyle ponied up - again - to get the games aired.

OK....for the next 3 games our options in Canada as I see it are:-

(1) Feb 8th. vs Salford - BBC Radio Manchester.........(2) Feb 13th. vs Wigan - SKY Sports TV on Sportsnet World......(3) Feb. 21st. vs Warrington - not on SKY, I don't have radio info. yet, but it would seem to be carried by something called "5live Sports Extra".  I have no idea what this is - can someone enlighten me?  And, can we get it in Canada?   And....have I got it right with/for these 3 games?

I confirm 1 & 2. Not sure about 3. 5 live sports extra is a backup station for the main 5 live that focus on news and sports. 5 live extra is usually geoblocked outside the UK, not 5 live main.

Both are national radio stations but they are based in Salford.

Warrington is usually covered by BBC Merseyside, unless there is fixtures conflict with st Helens.

Wigan, Warrington, st Helens... 3 big games coming after this weekend. 2 on TV, the other to be confirmed.

I saw that sn world has tonight game on their grid. Tomorrow Hull derby is probably live on sn+, and replay Tuesday night on world.

1st, ensure your TV is compatible to the Android boxes you are looking at.

2nd, get a VPN for your Android Box. (For privacy purposes obviously)

Actually, right now I'm leaning towards an Amazon Firestick. I'd primarily be using it to subscribe to (former Wolfpack sponsor) Teksavvy's TV service. Which does not include SNWorld.

Ahead of the game on Saturday I thought it might be useful to know that Salford are now posting full games online (a day or so after the live game) - what is relevant to you is that you can sign up for free until the end of this month so could potentially watch the Toronto game and then cancel your subscription should you wish. Link is here:  https://www.salfordreddevils.net/red-devils-tv-new-platform/

I've not tried it myself yet but will be doing. The games are filmed from the gantry I believe so it isn't 'broadcast quality' but better than nothing.

Hope that helps/is of use.
