Thought we struggled in the second half against them in the 1895 cup. Andrade caused us a lot of problems and we have to remember they did not play Ridiyard and McNally, also they now have Emmy Whittle with a point to prove. Could be a big test for us.

All 3 of our injured players will be missed, but I think Kopczak is the biggest loss.

Agree he has shown in a couple of games now that he is ever alert. Also looks solid in defence.

I think we have over the years had some excellent 2nd Row forwards. Already mentioned are Andy Goodway, Bob Lindner and Mick Worrall. But in my opinion, my favourite of them all was Bob Irving.

If you can get to Huddersfield, it is £2 on the 184 Bus to Oldham town centre. It is then a 35 min walk to the ground. That may suit the Yorkshireman in you.

We are obviously going to be there to be shot at, with the squad we have put together. My hope is we come through and do as expected. The signings including the coach have created a lot of anticipation amongst the fans. The season just can't come fast enough.

Only Wigan were full time at that time. Would they have been able to sustain that, or would other clubs eventually try to emulate them? Remembering the product then, it was not worse to watch, I would even say it was better, as it was not as robotic, as the game has become now.

Pr-Super League the structures attempted to sustain all clubs. Now the structure only attempts to sustain the 12 clubs in the elite league, and leaves the rest to fend for themselves. Only supporters of SL clubs probably think that this is just and fair.

Agree entirely, our recruitment looks like someone on the board knows where we will be competing next season.
