Shane's not in our best 17 when all available unfortunately. Cressy looks like first choice no.1, broadbent a victim of his own ill-discipline. Shows we have good strength in the backs when all available. Everything crossed Rothwell and Forber can play. If Burke's available he comes in for Emeslie off the bench for me. Other than that unchanged.

He also put through the grubber for our last try which was a great little kick. Personally think he's been good if he wasn't in the team he would be a huge miss. Two points on the board discipline much improved. Penalty count better just a slight improvement in decision making/execution and we will have nothing to worry about. When fully fit our starting 17 is decent.

10 points up why on earth are we going for a short drop out. Didn't work, invited pressure lead to two tries for haven. Horrendous decision making.

Terrible news, been a bad couple of weeks for us. Need some good news at Walkers tribunal and a couple of props through the door pronto.

I don't think we could have got off to a worse start. 3 key players sent off/in the bin. 2 key players burke and Smith injured likely long term. So a minimum of 5 key players potentially out for a period of time is an absolute disaster. The players need to take accountability for this quick without being too dramatic this could have a huge effect on our season and with the recent changes in structure it could be detrimental.

Full game is now on wakey YouTube. Some good showings Max Anderson-Moore all round game was good. Bedward had a go first time we've seen him I suspect more minutes will be coming his way. Overall a dogged performance after a shaky start, plenty to build on. Johnston and Walkers kicking game a highlight for me.

Clarke looks like a good ball carrier with his size I wouldn't be surprised if he's moved in field playing more in the middle think he would fit nicely there. 'magic mike' is very much a work in progress. Ryan Johnston has become a very good half back and his partnership with Walker looks good. I had my doubts about Walker being a long term 6 but what I've seen so far he has been very impressive across the board everyone went well if we can keep most out key players fit and reduce the penalty count I'm hopefully we can have a solid season

Agreed 1000 for a friendly against a very average Rochdale side is decent. A few championship clubs would take that as a average attendance for the year! Thought Walker went well too at 6 deserved M.O.M. I am/was sceptical him being a 6 week in week out however played well today albeit against limited opposition. Big drop off when the youngster came on, hopefully won't be required too much and the loan budget there for the season allows us not to expose them. First glance of Mike Ogunwale looks raw but I'm sure cresta will be working hard on the fundamentals with him.
