Rugby League at its best is unbeatable.

Recommended Posts

Having just watched the Storm v Broncos opening match of Round five I feel justified in saying Rugby League at its best is unbeatable as a spectator sport.

The game was a thriller from start to finish. It had excitement and drama in spades. The spectators got all their money’s worth and then some.

There were spectacular tries and a bundle of points.
To be precise there were 64 points in total and only two points separating the two teams at the end.

The game could have gone either way but neither team were prepared to buckle.

That was rugby league at its best. What a magnificent competition the NRL is when it can produce that kind of spectacle so early in the season.

That game in itself went a long way towards the cost of WatchNRL.

The highlights of the game should really be almost 80 minutes long but you may have to make do with this:
