  1. From the Hull KR website: "Hull KR are excited to confirm exciting utility back, Jack Broadbent has joined the club from Castleford Tigers on a season-long loan with immediate effect while Corey Hall and Louis Senior have in-turn joined Castleford on loan for the remainder of 2024." So, I don't think you can take a loan player on dual reg. It's a funny one. As he will be a Hull KR signed player in 2025 then why is he on loan there now rather than a straight transfer? Very confusing!

  5. "How will that affect" team spirit?" I suspect much less than most would expect. Many of them would have done the same if offered a big pay rise with which to support their families. They are professional players not fans. Very, very different.
  6. Greetings to our rugby league friends Every week of the season fevnut writes a blog that includes his ‘musings’ column. It’s written primarily for Fev fans, of course, but we have found that many others have been interested to read what we have to say about rugby league in general. Another loss last week, but it felt very different from the two previous ones. Big cause for concern. The partnership between the RFL and IMG is a huge cause for concern and seems to be putting the entire future of our sport in peril. We end this week’s piece with an example of ridiculous information on rugby league websites and on a positive note, some good news coming from the RFL match officials department. Access the article by using the link below and then by using the links on the top left-hand side of the page (by clicking on ‘Archive’) you can find all sorts of information including previous ‘fevnut’s musings’ articles. https://bit.ly/3PZGDa2

  10. Jones wasn't out of position. He played the whole match at hooker. The team on the teamsheet and as read out on the tannoy was NOT how they played. This was the actual team
  11. Hi folks Started preparing fevnut's blog for the match on April 14th. Could someone please tell me who is your captain this year. Will be very grateful for a response!
  12. Greetings to our rugby league friends Every week of the season fevnut writes a blog that includes his ‘musings’ column. Although it is primarily about Fev (obviously) fans of our opposition teams have enjoyed taking a look. Despite the loss, it was another good team performance against Wakefield although there was a clear cause for concern in our defence down the wing. There were many players who played well and, in particular, Caleb Aekins. After just two games we are currently outside the play-off positions, but we are confident now that we will make it. But have you any idea when we were last out of the play-off positions? Connor Jones has a big Fev career milestone and while considering his career with Fev we also take a look at those players who have played at least 50 games at No. 9 for Rovers. We end this week with expressing our best wishes to Tom Holmes who has been going through a very rough patch healthwise. Access the article by using the link below and then by using the links on the left-hand side of the page (by clicking on ‘Archive’) you can find all sorts of information including previous fevnut’s musings articles. https://bit.ly/3VMhDXE

  20. Greetings to our rugby league friends Every week of the season fevnut writes a blog that includes his ‘musings’ column. We begin by talking about last weekend’s game at Batley and why we were so poor in the opening fifteen minutes. This past week has been very bad for the club with some very unsavoury information being bandied about and Mark Campbell announcing that he is stepping down as Chairman. We don’t wish to be part of the mud-slinging but we do wish to make some comments about the situation the club is in. In the past there were times when international RL was limited to a very small number of teams. How things have changed and we write about why internationalism is important to us and the wide distribution of international qualification in our 2024 Fev Squad.
