Jacks nothing like his dad in that regard. Players like Kevin Sinfield are unfortunately a very very rare breed. Cameron Smith is still relatively young and should grow as a captain.

Leeds gave a very good crop of youngsters coming through who just aren’t quite ready yet. All being well, Sinfield replaces Frawley, Fergus McCormack will replace Croft, we've some good outside backs in Smith, Ned McCormack, Riley Lumb and Alfie Edgell at full back. Plus some decent prospects in the forwards. Hopefully the club are looking a bit more to the future which is what brought them success last time around.

We wont know what he will be taking up RE cap space, it could be we’ll pay you x amount as a player for a year then your wage dramatically rises when you take the commercial role up
-
I don’t particularly mean it was a demand, I probably worded it badly. I meant if he he wants to play in for another year and leeds didn’t want him to he may have signed for another club so any backroom position may not happen at Leedsz
-
Maybe he wants to play for another year so it was either sign him on that basis or not at all
-
Help bring the younger kids through for a year. He may be 37 but he’s still a very good winger.
-
Which is where he may end up at Leeds?
-
Because he wanted to go to the NRL,and that was 6 years ago.

As usual Rhinos fans in meltdown over this, if its a one year playing deal with a transition into a backroom job then it’s a good bit of business. We have dome good young outside backs coming through who just aren’t quite ready yet, Hall will be a good mentor. Everyone seems to be saying just play the kids, whilst ignoring the fact that we currently have a young player playing on the wing who gets all manner of stick every game.

He’s had reconstructive surgery on his Jaw and Teeth which meant he had to wear a pretty big brace for a few years. Which is why it rankled me a bit when he was getting so much stick for his speech. It coincided with him getting the gig on Sky and apparently he was pretty worried about how he would speak on TV. Takes a bit of courage IMO especially as I say the amount of personal abuse hurled around on SM and the likes.

I’m not particularly blaming the fans, they have a right to react how they want. I just personally don’t like some of the vitriol I'm hearing at games. Some of it quite personal. I’m underwhelmed myself, although were not that far off where I expected from the start of this season, I thought we’d be scratchy til around round 10, I did however expect us to have one or two more wins. Last night could have easily gone either way, I’m not that despondent just yet. I’ve seen some really good stuff it’s just been mixed with some awful stuff. Scrape a win or even lose any of our next two games and it might be different

Miller was excellent bar his brain fart. Atmosphere at Headingley is very poor at the moment, it’s actually not that enjoyable to go to, the vitriol from some of our fans towards lots of people at the club is horrendous. Mind you it’s been like that even when we were winning everything at certain points, don’t call us Whinos for nothing
