Sailaway
The Club have announced the departure of Luke Waterworth. Sad to see him go but it appears he has lost the desire to play the game. Edited April 28, 2023 by Sailaway
wayner
yes sorry to see Luke leave - I guess his injury to his knee is part of his decision to leave / retire. Luke had some great moments especially the match winning try against Huddersfield in the cup

Sailaway
Brickhill has had a couple of awful injuries to try to overcome. He is another player I am sad to see leave.
ManchesterYed
Sorry to see Brickhill leave looked like a right grafter over the last 2 years I’ve been coming to heywood road. should the lions have kept the lads from last year? We’ve already got half of them back charnock and roby. will Toulouse be weakened this weekend following the international break, potential a opportunity for a win. Can’t wait to get back to my RL fix this weekend with Swinton Saturday and Oldham Sunday.
Mark
No Toulouse have sigend 2 french internationals on DR from Catalans for the week so they should be strong "When you participate in sporting events, it's not whether you win or lose; it's how drunk you get." -Homer Simpson "I couldn't be more chuffed if I were a badger at the start of the mating season" Ian Holloway
wayner
I don't think anyone will expect the Lions to win on Saturday but lets hope than can be competitive and that form will follow on the the games which they can win. Really thought we have missed out on 4 points as we should have won at both London and Sheffield. Also sorry to see Brickhill leave - thought his best position for us was loose forward - remember he made that great break against Rochdale at home from which we scored.
