We are definitely going places. Oldham is now run by professionals, has this ever happened in our entire history. Mike Ford has clearly learned from Rugby Union and he has brought savvy business people on board. Yes it's far too early to say we are back, yet the foundation is being set, something that is lacking at most rugby league clubs, including those in super league. We get our marketing sorted, ie digital media , leaflet drops etc etc and we could take our beloved sport by storm. Thanks again Mike and Bill and the rest of the team , exciting times await .

Paul Taylor, wow I was on Shaw market one day in the 1980s. Well I think Paul was living on Oak St Shaw at the time, so it was a great surprise to see him walking towards me. The guy with him was no other that one Peter Sterling. Two legends on little old Shaw Market, who would believe it.

Let's hope the fans flock back in their thousands. This is great news. Thanks to the board, we are now going places.

I agree entirely with you Paul. The animal names are outdated and tbh can sound quite childish. I have been thinking all day about a name change that will create a stir and lead to great merchandising for the club. Maybe we should ask the next generation for ideas as they are immersed in the new world of media.

I still dream of us getting to Wembley

Yes I am on board for the next chapter in our history. Had no intention of following the previous owners ideas of running the club as so many people I know also stayed away. A big thank you to Mike and the other directors and I will be at BP next year. Rugby League is in a mess atm and I have a gut feeling we will soon be back to the top table very soon just in time for the big change this sport requires.

Great news . I am looking for my old scalf that I have not used in 25 years. Thanks to the new owners, we hopefully have a proper club to follow again. There are many people like me who refused to follow the club how it has been run. I for one will now return.
