What is the capacity at the Jungle nowadays? if 8,000 is the lowest figure that would be a good start. Looking forward to it....an FC win would set them up and avenge 'that' game from last year ....can't see it but will be cheering them on from the pub (in the interest of a good start to SL!) I loved the light show and the pyro which went on. It was befitting of a season opener. I hope we have similar success for the rest of the weekend.

JonNgog
a very impressive 14,000 at Saints. Which surely must be our best ever crowd against London.

Great crowd against London. I'd imagine clubs would love to play their London or Catalans game first up to get that season opener boost.
Sports Prophet
I have watched Hull Derby, fast forwarded through Saints and now watching the game at Leigh. I am anticipating a 90% capacity at Leeds too. If the round finishes the way it’s gone so far, I think we will see SL set a very high bar for the NRL to match for an opening round as far as near capacity crowds are concerned.
Chris22
Think we gave away around 2,000 tickets or so. We've tended to this against Catalans in recent years, usually for Home Bargains employees. I don't have a problem with it as a one-off over the course of a season, better than an empty stand as it otherwise would have been against London. Probably about 12,000 paying customers, which is still good.

LeytherRob
8580 at Leigh, only 9 less that round 1 last year with about 2k less away fans as Salford brought loads for last years opener. Should be looking at several lock outs this year providing the away team can fill the south.

But I jest a little - it's been a fantastic start and most games seem about 10% up on what I would have expected. Cas and Catalan selling very well too.
