Would anyone take Keanan Brand back if we had the opportunity?

Harvey Makin recalled & gone back out to London on loan. This is a reason we shouldn’t be relying on loans they always seem to get cut short. Hope we can get someone else in to make up for losing Makin.

Harvey Makin season loan from Wigan! great addition was impressed with him from what I seen of him last season when he was with us.

Anyone heard anything at all on the signings front? I have half a feeling we will use the pre season games to run the rule over several trial players who look to earn contracts rather than sign anymore. also do think we will look to use the duel reg system this coming season.

This year is his last year on contract with haven. so say they are demanding payment for him which I would assume they probably want around his yearly salary might be way off the mark but I’d assume that would be around 15-20k could we afford to pay that?

When’s Jacques signing ??

This is just what I heard of a source could be way off the mark but apparently the club are trying to secure outside investment before committing to signing “marquee” signings on should we say a larger contract.

Ben Evans released from his contract at the club.

Not controversial it’s a fair point mate. I am the same in terms of the local game my knowledge isn’t great but I of course trust Cresta to make the decision regards evans if he stays or goes I’ll support whatever decision is made.

Evans is contracted but I can’t see him playing a big part next year. Personally I’d get rid of him & spend the money (assuming a big (ish) on wage) on locals or more local based players.

He played for us a few years back & returned back to the amateur game i believe. (someone correct me if wrong) Also think he had a spell at one of the clubs up the coast a while back also Plays hooker

Great re signing class when he came in to aid our injury worries last year! local lad and wages won’t be huge good pre season under him we have a real player again next year. Gillam new contract next please!

Can someone post who’s officially signed on for for next year?

Last I heard on this Corkill Archer are both going into the yard / are with apprenticeships & also said that they were both signing for another year. but can’t blame them if someone offers them week in week out rugby I guess.

Great signing if true. Joe Bullock LOAN Tom Walker (worst kept secret) Ryan King that’s another 3 players we are signing it we could sign them 4 I’d be extremely happy not to mention other players we will sign also. somehow I cannot see a relegation fight next year!

Definitely his last game for barrow Thanks for the memories Jarrod for the most part he has been sensational sometimes a drop in performance but you’d rather him in the team that not.

Just wanted everyone’s opinions on the following I’ll start : Player of the year - Ryan Johnston CLASS all season won us games just with his kicking game this season & his defence has improved massively probably can consider himself a high end championship level half now buzzing he’s signed a new deal. most improved - Luke Broadbent most improved on the basis of the fact he didn’t get in the team early in the season & when he did he has been class even when he’s been asked to play in other positions. flop of the year - Ben Evans don’t like digging out players but not been impressed with what I’ve seen tbh came with a good reputation & probably a big ish wage & the locals have done better imo. best result - 22-23 away win at haven who doesn’t love winning via drop goal in a derby game to forget - 18-18 draw at home with Newcastle should’ve put that game to bed

He has been in majority of squads (21/23 man) if he is named in that squad then he is a saints player if he is left out of the 21/23 man squad then he will return to barrow & play was the deal so I believe. but as someone else stated above the loan has now been made permanent.
